If your dog has skin issues, antibotics and steroids will not clear up allergies or yeast overgrowth (Candida Albicans).

This is why the Skin Recovery Kit #30 will benefit a dog with unbalanced yeast issues. We have found the vast majority of dogs with systemic yeast issues also have low thyroid or low normal thyroid and need to be medicated with the appropriate thyroid medicine suggested by your vet. Thyroid medications are as important as an appropriate high quality meat based diet otherwise the yeast kit does not have a fighting chance to work properly. We highly suggest you go to www.hemopet.com (Dr. Jean Dodds) and get the forms necessary for your vet to draw blood and have your dog tested with a 5 Panel blood test, then send it to her for anaylsis. SHE IS THE EXPERT on thyroid issues! We want to get your dog back on track, you and the pet has suffered enough so let's get the proper test done that is the key to opening the door on this problem. SUMMARY: 1) HAVE A THYROID TEST DONE FIRST, while you are getting your food lined up and Kit #30 ordered. If the thyroid test comes back "low normal" it is suggested that you treat with thyroid medication so be firm with your veterinarian on this. Remember estrus cycles and vaccines given within 2 months can skew the thyroid results. It may come back low normal, it is suggested you still need to medicate.

2) Change your pet's diet to Precise Holistic Complete Puppy or Adult dog food (large/giant or small/medium) or the Precise Holistic Complete Grain Free Diets (Pork or Lamb/Turkey). http://www.precisepet.com NutriSource Grain Free can be used if Precise is not in your area. Just make sure there is no potato in their grain free foods. www.nutrisourcepetfood.com

3) Order and use the Nzymes Skin Recovery Kit#30 and follow the instructions that come with the kit!! In chronic cases of systemic yeast, plan on 3- 6 months or more. Your dog will go through a detox process as you ease into this program. Our K-9 Ear Solutions is the absolute best ear wash for fungal infections in the ears - this one really works and it comes with the Kit #30 for all breeds and sizes. Kit# 30 + K9 Ear Solutions - $125.00 1 - NZYMES Granules (2 lbs. = 220 Teaspoons) 1 - Ox-E-Drops (2.2 oz.) 1 - Fortified BacPak Plus (200 Gr.) 1 - Tincture of Black-Leaf (2.2 oz.) My 16 year fur baby had problems - black belly, runny ears, itchy skin - and the smell! Horrible. She was one miserable pup. I had no idea what was going on. Vets kept putting her on antibiotics that did nothing. I did some internest searching and found First Choice and the Great Dane Lady. There was all my pup's symptoms! I ordered the Nzyme Skin Recovery Kit and started twice-a-day meds on July 14. Nearly four weeks later, I can tell you she is a different dog. Her skin has improved so much. Her hair is soft and healthier looking. Her ears are much better. She feels better and her energy level has increased. And the smell is GONE! I know that we have a way to go, but I have confidence this is WORKING! Thank you Great Dane Lady and First Choice Naturals!

I have only been using this combination kit for about 3 weeks and have already noted a difference in my dogs skin. Much less itching and her rashes and yeasty smell and feet are clearing up. I would recommend it 100% .. it is so much better than all the shots, pills and ointments the vet had her on for YEARS that never actually cleared UP the problem.

Not only did I receive my kit in a very timely fashion and the ordering system was very user-friendly, the best part of this review is that the products work! We've been battling a yeast overgrowth for 3 years and couldn't find anything that works until now. The Nzyme Skin Recovery kit has done miracles for our dog...she is even beginning to grow back hair that has been gone for a year :) Thanks and please keep offering these wonderful and natural options!!

My dog has only been on this for 3 1/2 weeks. I am hoping to give this an even higher rating after he has been on it longer. Since taking, he has not broken out in "hives" and the yeasty smell has gone away. I do believe where his skin was black that it is more grey now. His still itches and bites at himself; but, most days not as much. His hair is still very thin. I am winging this on my own as my vet was not able to help us at all. He had been on steroids, allergy medicine, yeast medicine and the medicated baths. Nothing was working. I am still doing the medicated baths along with the Nzymes. I only wish there was a contact person that could answer questions as I go along the way with the product.

All of the various parts to this kit were a little daunting at first but once I read through all of the daily dosing information, it couldn't be easier to administer! I started my foster dachshund with a severe systemic yeast problem on this skin recovery kit a few weeks ago. I will update again in a month on her progress.

I have never before written a review of any product, so it says a lot that I am taking the time to review this one. My 8-year-old lab has fought skin issues her entire life. We recently found a vet who agreed to test her for hypothyroidism and, although her results were in the normal range, the vet prescribed thyroid medication for her anyway, describing her as the 'poster dog' for physical symptoms of the condition. That first step helped her some, but she was still plagued by chronic yeast. The vet prescribed 400 mg of floconazole daily for 60 days, with the caution that this could cause serious kidney issues. When two weeks of this treatment produced no result other than an obviously very uncomfortable dog, I discontinued the medication and in desperation turned to the internet and found First Choice Naturals. After reading every word on the website, I decided to order the yeast removal program. I also followed the website's advice regarding her food and changed to a grain-free product. Our dog has been on the program, and new food, for 3 1/2 weeks now (along with her thyroid medication and weekly miconazole baths which had already been part of her skincare routine). The improvement in her skin condition is amazing! The fur on top of all four paws, which has been gone for many months, is now almost fully re-grown, and the bare patches on all four legs are also starting to fill in. The skin on the undersides of her paws and on her legs is now a healthy pink rather than the angry red it had been. But the best part is that she seems to just plain feel better! She is more alert and active and is becoming playful again. The program is expensive, but for us, it was money VERY well spent. Be warned that, if you follow this program exactly, during the de-tox phase you will find MANY small black 'scabs' everywhere your dog hangs out. I read that this was actually yeast that the body was getting rid of through the skin, and was then a bit happier about having to clean them all up! The only reason I gave the program a rating of 4 instead of 5 is that it is a bit complicated in that there are four different products in two different forms and delivery methods, and the dosages and products change over the first few weeks. Also, the literature (lots of it) is at times contradictory regarding dosages. But overall it is not too difficult to administer, just time-consuming at first, and our dog doesn't mind the taste of any of the products. We will definitely keep using it.

We are really just beginning the process of detoxing our 7 year old rescue. She came to us with severe yeast and allergies. We immediately changed her food to Nutrisca Lamb and Chickpea, then had her thyroid checked. She was way our of whack. It has taken us 3 months to get her to above normal. One more blood test on the 15th of June. I have started her with the nyzmes each day along with the other two drops. She had been on TemerilP to get her seasonal allergies and the yeast under control. Now that she is stabilized, I've dropped her down to a 1/2 pill every other day for now. I fully agree that the yeast and thyroid issues go hand in hand - along with good nutrition that isn't laced with carbs. She does enjoy a 1/4 chopped apple each day and some string beans at night. I'm so grateful for your website. It gave me knowledge and insight into what was going on with this darling girl. We are forever grateful you have taken the time and energy to bring understanding to us.

The product seems to be working. This has been a long process of just trying to figure out what was going on and what we could do about it. We also switched Max's diet to raw food so we are hoping that will help out as well. I would recommend this product, just pay attention to the reaction the first week. On a larger breed I don't think that is as critical. Our dogs are all under 10 lbs and you just have to be careful on the initial dosage.

My 9 yr old Pomeranian, Bella has been suffering from candida yeast overgrowth for almost a year until I found the Nzyme Skin Recovery kit. My experience prior to that was exactly what they predicted, numerous visits to the vet, steroids, antibiotics, and referrals to allergy specialists, all of which did not work, and made matters worst!... then I did my own research and found the Great Dane Lady and First Choice Naturals. My poor dogs was in terrible health, she was losing fur, constantly itchy, skin was blackening, and her right eye was swollen, red and the vet said she was getting cataracts. The pictures on the Great Dane Lady's site looked exactly like what my dog was experiencing. I took a chance and put the health of my dog in my own hands, and ignored the Vet's warning of "homeopathic internet predators". Bella has been on the Nzyme Skin Recovery kit for almost 5 weeks now and I am seeing such wonderful results already. Her eye is completed normal, all redness gone, and even the glaze has disappeared. She has stopped itching, stopped erupting with new sores, and the old sores are healing and the blackened skin is already on the mend to her normal soft pink skin. She is happy and energetic once again. I was feeding her what I thought was good dog food but from our local supermarket, and now I am using Precise dry, and organic canned, and fresh organic chicken (bought at our local farm market). The food options are a bit more money than what I was used to spending, but are now a far better value than non productive Vet costs. I am keeping her on this program because it works, Thank You First Choice! Finally, a company that really cares about our pets!!

I was pleased with these products and saw results within 3 weeks. Recovering from yeast is a slow process and I am thankful I have found a more holistic approach to this problem instead of antibiotics and steroids!

For years I've been trying to fight the iching and yeast breakouts from the outside! After an online search, what a discovery it was to find what was really causing the problems. In only a few weeks of using the the Nzyme's products and changing her diet, I have a different dog! The iching has improved substantially. She has slimmed down, has more energy, and her hair is growing back! I have already recommended these products to family and friends who have pets. The quality of Rylee's life has changed! Thank you!

This was purchased as part of a last ditch effort to clear up allergy/skin/yeast problems in a rescue dog. In the month he's been on the products, his skin is starting to look better. I had tried a lot of traditional solutions with no improvement and had my doubts this would work, but so far it seems to be helping him!

I began using the supplements in my dog's food almost a month ago and within a week, saw some improvement in his yeast condition. He became less itchy, and the dark patches along his hind legs grew lighter. I noticed after two weeks, his hair started growing back where there had been bald patches and hot spots. His stomach looked less black and the skin looked more grayish/pink and healthy. The first change I noticed was the blackish, thick crusty skin around his tail, began changing to a light gray/pink and the hot spots healed up. He looks and feels so much better now. He used to sit around and scratch himself all day long until he was exhausted.

This is amazing. We've heard all the babble about MiLady's chronic ear infections being allergies. As a result the poor thing has been doped up on cortisone shots, benadryl and steroids so many times over the last two years it can only be described as "wrong". This WORKED. She's a different dog. No ear infections and she's obviously happier and in less discomfort. Her whole personality perked up. The K9 Ear Solution is my new favorite product. This is worth all the money in the world.

My 2 German Shepherds were itching like crazy, with red bumps. One of them required a month of Cephalexin for a bacterial infection and bilateral alopecia from biting himself. After only 2 weeks on the Yeast Removal Kit, my male looked better than a month of antibiotics! Hair is regrowing on his back, and his hocks are no longer beet red. Now nearly 4 weeks into the kit, both of them sport healthier skin and coats, and the itching is noticeably less. Looking forward to seeing their continued progress! I have already referred a colleague with a lab who's been suffering and she started it for her dog. (Also using the Microtek shampoo---couldn't be happier with that product too!)

My dog has been using this product for 2 weeks. During this stage of the process he is getting worse which I'm told is to be expected. I am pleased with this product so far because it is not an antibiotic or a steroid or something really expensive to treat his symptoms. This is the first thing we've tried in the past six months that is related to fixing a possible "cause" instead of just treating a symptom.

It's still a little early to tell, but our rescued setter is much less intent on chewing the fur off of his feet. We started the program about one month ago, but have been diligent on keeping with the program. Before we started the program, he would chew his feet until they would bleed. I tried all forms of sprays, but that would just make him more intent on attacking his feet. We put him on the program, an elizabethan cone and socks for one month. We no longer use the socks, but he still wears the cone most of the time. He has is finally to the point where we only put the cone on when he starts to lick or chew on his feet. Hopefully a few more months, and he will be better than ever. It's the only thing that's worked so far, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Our dog was diagnosed with yeast on her paws with no results with their meds. This Yeast Removal Kit is excellent..I am getting GOOD results. We are not over her illness but I can see a BIG difference and that is what matters.I highly recommend to any animal who has been diagnosed with any kind of allergies. (This a holistic way of treating your animal) I feel it will take some time to get all the yeast out of her system, but seeing is believing. I am a believer!!!

I want to thank you for addressing the needs of the pet world! my dog, Pearl, had developed a rash on her stomach which spread to her legs and then was accompanied by her losing her hair in the same places. She began to have a "tacky" feel to her coat and there was a residue that would rub off and stick to my fingers. After trying many products to treat what I thought was an exterior issue, I began to research her symptoms and finally made a connection between the double round of antibiotics she had been given as a 4 month old puppy and her skin and coat problems. I ordered your yeast removal kit and hoped this would be the answer. Within one week the rash had started to disapate. I followed the instructions for bathing and soon the residue was gone. And now after adhereing to the supplements for a couple of months her hair has almost completely filled back in!!! I truly believed she was going to be a victim of "bad" skin all her life and now I know it was a product of her system being torn down. But we also made the discovery that she is allergic to corn, wheat, soy and some other staple ingredients found in most pet foods. She eats a raw diet now. But I know without a doubt, even with the change in her food, she would not have recovered from the damage done without your yeast removal products. Thank you, thank you, thank you! And Pearl sends licks. She is happy to be turning 2 soon and has a beautiful grey coat. The first thing everyone says when they pet her is, "she's so soft". Thank you again.

I truly believe our dog is finally beating her internal fungus. Her itching has greatly reduced. She is happier and full of energy. This has been a 6 year battle of vets telling us she had allergies. 1 vet finally tested her and found it was not allergies, but a fungus. After 2 tries of medications and temporary cures, I got on the internet (I love the internet) and learned of good dog food and your products. My husband was pessimistic, but he is also seeing a great improvement. I am so thankful I found your products.
